DUMONT, NJ – Self-proclaimed travel blogger “hater” Ed Spence shocked the world when he recently took an entire weekend off from writing anonymous, nasty comments on various blogs.
58-year-old Ed Spence, who also goes by several other aliases online, decided to take the weekend off from reading and writing insults on travel blogs so he could finish watching Season 2 of Love Is Blind. In comments made to friends, er, friend and mother, he offered this statement, “I’ve been doing my thing for literally three years straight, and I just needed a break. Taking the weekend off allowed me to focus my mindless drama on those reality stars instead. Now, I feel refreshed, and I’m ready to unleash my criticism on travel bloggers with a renewed veracity.”
Spence is well known across the blogosphere for finding fault with literally everything and anything travel bloggers do. There are unconfirmed reports that Spence once tried travel blogging but gave up when he realized it was “pretty hard” to monetize it without any readers.
Several travel bloggers from BoardingArea.com expressed concern during Spence’s online comment hiatus. One blogger, who wishes to remain anonymous, called the local police to perform a welfare check on Spence. Police found Spence alive and well in his mother’s basement, binging Netflix, and belly deep in some Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.
“I’m touched the bloggers actually care about my wellbeing. Next time, I’ll give them a head’s up,” added Spence, before unpausing the latest season of The Bachelor.
