PHOENIX, AZ – Nichelle Jenson, a 19-year-old college student tweeted her enthusiasm about #adulting the other day after signing up for a Southwest Airlines credit card at the Phoenix Airport.

Nichelle Jenson was home for the 4th of July holiday to visit family over the long weekend when she found herself face to face with a “grown-up” decision: signing up for her first travel credit card.

As she walked towards her gate she was accosted by a handsome fella named Steve who was hocking Southwest Airlines credit cards. According to one of her friends, Jenson, she was surprised she could even get a credit card with a credit score of 474 and a crippling college loan debt that had already crossed the $200,000 mark.

However, Steve assured her she’d be approved without any issues and confidently informed her that a 34% interest rate was actually pretty good.

As she left the kiosk, witnesses reported seeing Jenson stroll away with a broad grin on her face as she hammered a quick tweet about #adulting to her followers.

“First credit card, y’all. Next stop college bookstore! #adulting,” the tweet said. She then quickly switched over to TikTok to film a quick video of her and Steve dancing.
