LITTLE ROCK, AR – Noting that he was running behind that morning, a man begrudgingly acknowledged eating the Hampton Inn breakfast while on a recent business trip, admitting it bucked conventional wisdom.

Business traveler Frank Scolder, 37, admitted to eating a breakfast consisting of reheated turkey sausage, a small omelet, and a tired banana.

Despite conventional wisdom suggesting that eating Hampton Inn breakfasts leads to extensive toilet visits throughout the day, Scolder seemed comfortable with the risk, stating in a Facebook post, “Listen, I have a strong stomach and a low bar when it comes to breakfast anyway. I’m not worried.”

Scolder’s colleagues, however, were less complimentary and hardly surprised by his breakfast choices.

“Yeah, everyone knows Scolder. He’s not great, to be honest. Kind of a weird guy. He probably won’t make his sales goals this year either, but no, we aren’t surprised at this choice,” observed Katie Windston, a sales engineer traveling with Scolder.

No information on Scolder’s health was available at the time of publishing.
