LOS ANGELES, CA – Sidney Matterson is seriously irritated that her luggage was lost on a recent United Airlines flight to Los Angeles. In a last-ditch effort to spur United Airlines into action, she tried tagging a “famous” travel blogger on Twitter to see if that would work. It didn’t.

38-year-old Sidney Matterson and her family are in Los Angeles to visit some amusement parks this summer, however, their trip is already going sideways. After arriving at LAX Matterson soon realized that United Airlines had lost her luggage. After griping with several United Airlines reps to no avail Matterson fired her final bullet in a valiant attempt to spur United Airlines into action.

As she crafted her third nasty tweet to United Airlines she tagged a famous travel blogger she followed. “Help @TheForwardCabin. This is #ridic. Luggage totally lost. Vacation ruined. #neverflyunited,” she tweeted, tagging travel blogger Jamie Larounis and United Airlines.

Much to her chagrin, it did not help. In fact, all it earned was some ridicule from Fake Travel Points Blogger @TravelFake who offered his thoughts and prayers over this difficult time for Matterson.

Lee is the brains (but definitely not the looks) of The Takeoff Nap. When he's not complaining about upgrades he runs a few travel blogs, but this one is his favorite.
