HOUSTON, TX – A Houston area woman is furious with the TSA after forgetting to unpack her firearm from her purse. A Glock 9 was confiscated along with 2 boxes of 9MM ammunition. Reportedly, she is mostly just mad about the ammo being taken.
“Have you seen the price of ammo!?!” Helen Smith a 44-year-old Houston area resident was heard shouting at the Transporation Security Agents who confiscated her firearm and 2 boxes of ammunition. “I could care less about the Glock. Those are cheap as hell, but ammo is expensive!”
Apparently, Smith had forgotten to remove the gun and ammunition from her purse before entering the airport for her annual fishing trip to Montana. Almost immediately after the bag went through the security scanner she was pulled aside by 4 uniformed police officers who confiscated her gun and the boxes of ammunition. Because was white she was not charged with any crimes and only lost the weapon and ammunition.
“I’d rather take a weapons charge than lose the ammo!” She belted out. “This is ridiculous! My husband is gonna be pissed.”
This is silly nonsense that doesn’t belong on Boarding Area. BTW, it’s could *NOT* care less.

If you don’t have enough sense to verify whether or not you are armed before entering ANY venue where guns are not permitted, you should lose the right to carry.
Perhaps Helen Smith was more upset about losing her ammo than losing her gun because she believes guns don’t kill people. Bullets kill people.
